Devolutions Online Drive

With the Devolutions Online Drive data source, entries are stored online in the Devolutions Cloud. Access entries from anywhere with an Internet connection.

 

Prior to creating the Online Drive data source you must create a Devolutions Cloud account.

 

The Devolutions Online Drive is an online file storage using the XML format to store entries. Devolutions Online Drive is completely free and has no limitations as to how many entries you might have. It is for single users as it cannot share files.

 

Create The Data Source

 

From the Data Sources section, tap on the Floating Action Button, then select the Devolutions Online Drive type.

Option

Description

Name

Enter the name of the data source.

Email

Enter the email address associated to the Devolutions Cloud account.

Password

Enter the password associated to the Devolutions Cloud account.

Always ask for password

Prompt for the password when connecting to the data source.

Forgot password

Opens the Devolutions Cloud website to reset your password.

Create a free account

Create a Devolutions Cloud account.

Filename

Indicate the filename used to store the data. If the file does not exist it will be automatically created.

 

Backup

Use the backup feature to secure an older version of the data source content, either on the local device or online.

Option

Description

Disable reveal password

Disable the reveal password feature.

Allow offline mode

Allow the data source to be used in Offline mode.

Auto refresh

Set the interval between each automatic refresh.

Always ask master key

Always ask the Master key before opening the data source. The master key is used to encrypt the DOD content. If the master key is lost it will be impossible to recover your data source.

Master key

Enter the master key of the DOD file. Adding a Master key to a DOD data source will NOT encrypt it. The master key can be set from a desktop client. For more information, please consult the Set a master key with Remote Desktop Manager for Windows topic.
