Navigate Through Entries

Description

 

Sessions can be used in embedded mode only, which will open a new screen to render the remote display. No external application is used. Below are instructions on how to navigate through sessions.

From the Connections list, tap on the Action Menu next to the chosen session and select Open.

The Navigation Toolbar

The toolbar below the session offers many useful features. It allows the user to type or send shortcuts with the keyboard, change the mouse behavior, and more.

Description

ToolbarKeyboard

Display the touch keyboard.

ToolbarKeyboardExtended

Display the extended keyboard (F1, Esc, Tab, Numerical, etc...)

ToolbarRightClick

Activate the right-click for the next finger tap. This feature can be use along with the Touchpad Mode, which will control where the right-click action will occur.

ToolbarTouchpad

Activate the mouse cursor. When this feature is enabled, the entire screen acts as a touchpad. When it is disabled, use finger gestures to control the session.

ToolbarCtrl

Tap once to activate the Ctrl key for one keyboard shortcut. Tap twice rapidly to keep the key activated for multiple keyboard shortcuts or item selection.

ToolbarAlt

Tap once to activate the Alt key for one keyboard shortcut. Tap twice rapidly to keep the key activated for multiple keyboard shortcuts.

ToolbarShift

Tap once to activate the Shift key so the keyboard types an upercase character. Tap twice rapidly to keep the key activated for multiple item selection.

ToolbarWin

Tap once to activate the Windows key for one keyboard shortcut. Tap twice rapidly to keep the key activated for multiple keyboard shortcuts. Tap twice slowly to display the Windows Start Menu.

 

This key applies only when connecting to a Windows host with an RDP session. When using an ARD session to connect to a macOS host, the Windows key is replaced by the Command key.

Open the session's action menu. Select between the following features:

 

Enter Full Screen (Hide the tabs, toolbar and statusbar if it is displayed)

Reconnect (The session is disconnected, then reconnected immediately)

Log Off (Log Off the connected user, then disconnect the session)

Minimize (Minimize the session in background. Simply tap on the session's tab in the dashboard to restore it)

 

Multiple Opened Sessions

When working with multiple sessions simultaneously, you can easily navigate through them by using the tabs above the Dashboard. Simply tap on the tab of a running session to restore it.

Running Sessions

All opened session are listed in the Running section of the application. Reveal the application drawer simply by sliding a finger from the left side of the screen and select Running.

You can easily restore opened sessions, and manage them by clicking on the ellipsis button on the right.
